SAYING GOODBYE

Inside of the Osprey we accept anyone of any race, sex, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, etc. But we do have rules on creation and how to make your character:

 

Step 1: Make sure that you take a look at the shop to make sure that the character you have in mind doesn’t need to be paid for. They will also be clarified in rules below.

 

Step 2: Draw your desired character out on the drawn application and complete the written application. When finished they should be Submitted together to the DeviantArt page

WRiTTEN APPLiCATiON

  • The minimum age for characters is 18 years old for each character

  • Follow the minimum word count.

  • All new characters start at Level 1.

  • All new characters have a maximum of 10 points to distribute on both the written application and drawn application stats. Additional points are given during the process of leveling up.

  • Don't exceed 6'7" feet in height.

  • If your character has a tragic backstory with triggering content we ask that you place a warning before, be courteous of the readers.

  • If your character suffers from a disability and/or mental illness we ask that you do your research on such disability and/or mental illness, we will not accept misinformation and invalid representation.

  • Be knowledgeable about your character's original (home) location. If your character is not from Nevada United states to board the Osprey, please elaborate in their biography how they got there in time. (EX: moving, traveling)

  • Anything with an asterisk (*) is mandatory and needs to be filled out.

  • The application can be submitted in google docs or google slides and be decorated and be modified in any way (increases chances of the application being accepted.

DRAWN APPLiCATiON

  • We prefer that you draw your own character, however, if you are unable to we will also accept commissioned art or art done with the help of a friend.

  • Drawn applications must be a full-body or half body. No sketches or unfinished work.

  • Be realistic with your character's apparel, they are living on a ship so they will not have access to a designer or impractical clothing.

  • When drawing your character, have uniforms relatively close to the characters career choice. Example; Researchers have Lab coats- but you are free to be creative. Casual outfits are optional, but should not be presented as the main outfit on your drawn application.

  • Stay away from outrageously colored hair. We accept lowlights and highlights, but you will not be able to maintain them fully while on the ship. If your character had dyed hair before boarding the ship, that is an exception, but expect it to fade and be cut out at one point.

  • No unnatural eye colors. With the exception of cybernetic eyes.

  • Cybernetics and robotic limbs are permitted, however, mechanical weapons or built-in abilities must be purchased. Body mutations are not permitted.

  • Cybernetic augmentations (limb, body, brain enhancements using technology) made in Eden may be manipulated by the Basilisk in future circumstances. it is not impossible to be a defected worker of the basilisk.

  • All weapons are seized upon boarding the Osprey.

Applications are not accepted based on First come first serve.

We will be judging applications on all factors such as writing, application format/extra effort, drawn application, and additionally behavior and activity within the Pre-Server.
